Week Three: Introduction to Non- Communicable Diseases (NCDs)
Module 3 continues the discussion on noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) to understand the burden of NCDs, who is most affected by NCDs, the key risk factors for these diseases, and measures that can be taken to reduce NCDs. This week’s module reviews injuries, as well as major risk factors such as tobacco and alcohol usage.
